Miguel Angel is growing in His relationship and knowledge of Jesus Christ as His Lord and Savior. He no longer is growing marijuana.! His neighbor, Dan West, AGWM personnel in Spain, introduced him to Jesus who changed his
life. Dan relates the story of this beautiful transformation.
"One day last summer while mowing my back yard, I noticed across the chain link fence separating our yards, that my neighbor, Miguel Angel, was growing a fine crop of marijuana. In the next few weeks the plants grew to where they reached across to our yard. As I spent time on my patio reading my Bible and praying, I looked over at the now small trees. A burden grew in my heart for my neighbor. I promised myself that the next time I saw him 'paying homage to his plants' I would go and talk to him...and that I did!
 We became friends as we chatted over the fence, but I never mentioned my convictions about the 'pot' plants. I began to share how we have all broken God's law and because we are guilty, we are bound for hell. He began to cry, saying that he did not know how to pull himself out of the deep pit in which he had placed himself.
Over the next couple of weeks, I continued to share Christ's love with him and invited him to our 'Great Banquet' event to which we invited friends or people off the street to a fine meal with good music, after which we invited them to come to the 'heavenly banquet' spoken of in the Bible. Those who accept salvation through Christ gain entrance to this banquet.
 There, once more, Miguel Angel heard the gospel. The next Sunday he came to church, and again the following Sunday when he repented of sin, turned to God, and put his faith in Christ. He has been attending church with us ever since. he has completed the discipleship class and will be baptized soon. He shares this message of Christ along with me every week in our downtown Madrid outreach at Plaza del Sol.
My 'druggy' neighbor has become a good friend and brother in the family of God. He's growing in His Christian life, no longer interested in growing marijuana."
